A favorite of Renee and Todd, we wanted to showcase Famille Bourgeois Winery and their vast array of incredible Sancerre wines from France and New Zealand.  Renee Joneck has been a fan of their wines since 2007 and is ecstatic to have many of their wines already on the menu - and now bringing more of their wines for you to taste and help select what to add to the menu + add to the Joneck's Wine Club.

WINERY BACKGROUND

For 10 generations, Famille Bourgeois has delivered passion and value ​​as winegrowers to develop Sauvignon Blancs and Pinot Noirs of great character.  Established in Chavignol, in the heart of the best terroirs of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, they have cultivated a mosaic of plots respecting our unique terroirs of Kimmeridgian Marl, Silex and Limestone Clays.

The Bourgeois brothers started a ‘Great Search’ to explore the possibilities offered by international wine regions that spanned 12 years. It finally lead them to Marlborough, New Zealand in the Wairau Valley.  The Valley is carved by ancient glaciers over millions of years, with soils most similar to their native Sancerre, allowing them to identify the potential to nurture ultra premium Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.

Come experience, compare and contrast their wines from France and New Zealand - taste, chat, buy some wine and stay awhile!

WINE TASTING MENU

Everyone will receive tastings of a select number of wines, along with take-home tasting notes + we'll ask for your scoring and feedback.  These wines will be available to purchase by the glass and/or bottle. (Joneck's bar will be open to buy other wines on the menu throughout the night).
